Terms & conditions
The agreement between you and Khan Terminal. Written to be read. The important parts are the ones about what this tool is not.
Last updated 12 August 2026
01Who you’re dealing with
These terms are between you and Khan Terminal Ltd (company number 17390417), registered in England and Wales at 39 Sheffield Road, Slough SL1 3EF, United Kingdom. Using Khan Terminal means you accept them.
02This is not investment advice
Every decision you make with this tool is yours. Markets fall as well as rise, past performance tells you little about the future, and you can lose money, and with some instruments more than you put in, with some instruments.
The AI can be wrong. Models make mistakes, including confident and plausible ones. That's exactly why every answer carries the source it came from: so you can check it. Please do. Don't treat an AI answer, a valuation, a score or a screen as a reason to trade on its own.
Market data and filings come from third-party and public sources. We don't guarantee they're accurate, complete or current, and figures may be delayed.
Cryptoassets specifically. The crypto sections of Khan Terminal, including any score, rating, ranking or profile such as Khan Crypto DNA, are information about observed data, ranked against a stated population or scored against stated bands. They are not a personal recommendation, not a forecast, and not an inducement to buy, sell or hold anything. Cryptoassets are highly volatile and largely unregulated, most are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme or the Financial Ombudsman Service, and you can lose the entire amount you put in. Where a figure cannot be sourced under a licence that permits us to display it (market capitalisation and circulating supply, for instance) we show nothing rather than an estimate.
03Who can use it
You must be at least 18. You're responsible for making sure using Khan Terminal is lawful where you are.
04Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account. Turn on two-factor authentication.
- Don't share your account. One account, one person.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got in.
05Plans and payment
- Free costs nothing and needs no card.
- Pro is £20 a month, with a 7-day trial. The trial needs a card up front and is available once per account. Cancel during the trial and you won’t be charged.
- Premium is £55 a month. It has no trial.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe.
- We may change prices, but never mid-period, and we'll tell you before your next renewal so you can leave.
06Cancelling
Cancel any time from your billing settings. No email, no phone call. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, then drop to Free. We don't delete your research when you downgrade; the paid features simply lock.
As a consumer you normally have 14 days to change your mind about a digital service. If you ask us to start it immediately (which is what happens the moment you use the terminal) you agree that the service begins within that period, and once it's been fully provided the right to cancel is lost. You keep the right to a refund for anything faulty.
To cancel or complain in writing: Khan Terminal Ltd, 39 Sheffield Road, Slough SL1 3EF, United Kingdom, or email hello@khanterminal.com.
07What you can’t do
- Resell, redistribute or repackage the service or its output as your own product.
- Scrape it, hammer it with automated requests, or work around plan limits and rate limits.
- Upload anything you don't have the right to upload, such as material you're contractually barred from sharing with a third party.
- Try to break, probe or reverse-engineer it, beyond what the law expressly permits.
- Use it to break the law, market abuse and insider dealing included.
08Your work stays yours
You own what you put in and what you make: your documents, notes, portfolios and research. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you, to store your content, index it, and send the relevant parts to the providers listed in our privacy policy so it can be analysed.
We don't claim ownership of your content, we don't sell it, and we don't train our own models on it.
The software, design and engines behind Khan Terminal remain ours. Exports you generate are yours to use.
09Availability
We'll try to keep the service running, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or remove features, and we may take it down for maintenance. If we discontinue a paid feature you rely on, we'll give you notice and a fair refund for the unused part of your period.
10Liability
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says can't be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Beyond that: Khan Terminal is a research tool provided as-is. We are not liable for investment losses, lost profits, or decisions you make using it. Those decisions are yours. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11Ending it
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we'll tell you why unless we're legally prevented from doing so. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund the unused part of your period.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For anything that materially affects you, we'll give reasonable notice before it takes effect, and you can cancel if you don't accept it.
13Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts. If you're a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you keep the protection of your local law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
